Mission Computing Architecture Systems Engineer

Job Summary:

Support mission computing architecture development by managing and ensuring the integrity of requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain system alignment and facilitate program success.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the requirements management process, ensuring clarity and proper documentation.
• Engage with stakeholders to analyze and refine system requirements.
• Develop traceability metrics to maintain the integrity of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage requirement changes and assess impacts on project scope, schedule, and resources.
• Ensure requirements meet high standards of clarity, completeness, and testability.
• Create and maintain documentation related to requirements management.
• Work closely with engineers and subject matter experts to integrate requirements into system architecture.
• Identify opportunities to improve requirements management processes.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field.
• 2+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience with an advanced degree.
• Experience in systems integration and avionics systems.
• Proficiency in requirements management tools such as DOORS.
• Familiarity with architecture modeling tools like MagicDraw or Cameo.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.

Salary: $81,600 - $132,250
