Job Summary

This role involves overseeing accounting and operational functions to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with policies related to asset and real estate accounting. Responsibilities include leading a team, collaborating with business partners, and implementing strategies to enhance operations. The position requires a strong ability to manage stakeholders, navigate challenges, and drive process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting functions related to real estate leases, capital projects, fixed assets, and other asset-related areas.
• Conduct variance analysis, monitor financial classifications, and research significant deviations.
• Develop and implement strategies for operational improvements and process automation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and US GAAP through proper training, execution, and monitoring.
• Communicate key financial insights and trade-offs to stakeholders across multiple departments.
• Lead a team, providing guidance, performance management, and professional development.
• Foster strong cross-functional relationships to facilitate timely decision-making.
• Stay informed on industry standards and regulatory updates to ensure best practices.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required; MBA preferred.
• 12+ years of experience in technical accounting and financial reporting for large SEC filers.
• At least four years of public company audit experience.
• Proven leadership experience managing teams of 5-10 professionals.
• Strong knowledge of financial systems, internal controls, and accounting principles.
• Ability to manage complex projects and drive process improvements.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communicator with strong influencing and relationship-building abilities.

Salary

Expected base pay range: $155,500 - $210,500, with additional bonus and equity eligibility.
