Industrial Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:

Founded in 1985, ATS specializes in industrial maintenance, focusing on optimizing factory operations.

Responsibilities:

• Perform mid to expert-level break-fix and preventative maintenance, including troubleshooting, dismantling, repairing, and testing mechanical and electrical systems.
• Identify and source necessary parts, supplies, and repair items.
• Independently perform maintenance according to industry standards.
• Set up and operate various machining tools, including lathe, drill press, and grinder, to manufacture and repair parts. May also perform welding tasks.
• Ensure compliance with 5S and housekeeping standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance processes, results, and cost savings.
• Update records and review CMMS history.
• Troubleshoot and analyze control systems, resolving hardware, software, and configuration issues.
• Utilize predictive maintenance technologies to collect and analyze equipment performance data.
• Provide guidance to lower-level technicians and lead small teams while contributing to training and development.
• Engage in continuous learning through on-the-job training and technical self-study programs.
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and technical guidelines while maintaining situational awareness.

Qualifications and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Associate’s degree in a technical field with three years of relevant industry experience, or five years of relevant industry experience, or successful completion of the ATS Technician Progression Program.
• Understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power, and control systems with the ability to analyze and resolve issues.
• Proficiency with basic hand tools and specialized tools.
• May be required to travel.
