Technical Sales Specialist

Job Summary

The role focuses on increasing sales through direct engagement with end-user accounts. This position is responsible for implementing market-impacting products and programs at the local level, working closely with multiple store locations. The role involves customer relationship management, sales strategy execution, and collaboration with internal teams to drive growth.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person visits to assigned accounts to develop and enhance sales opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to promote products and services.
• Work with store decision-makers to expand business volume and convert sales leads.
• Understand customer needs and provide insights to support sales efforts.
• Collaborate with customer support representatives to manage order processing and billing adjustments.
• Utilize sales tools and training resources to refine sales strategies.
• Identify market opportunities and provide recommendations to management.
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of product offerings, warranties, and promotions.
• Communicate with vendors and colleagues to resolve customer issues and drive sales growth.
• Participate in in-store promotions and sales events.
• Meet or exceed established sales targets and activity requirements.
• Conduct regular account reviews and provide performance updates to management.

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience in sales, retail, or account management.
• Proven ability to generate and convert sales leads.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Understanding of basic sales techniques and customer engagement strategies.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams.
• Proficiency in using sales and communication tools.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.

Salary

Competitive salary range of $58,750 to $79,750, based on experience and qualifications.
