Social Media Content Moderator

Job Summary

Responsible for moderating user-generated content on a digital platform, ensuring adherence to community guidelines. This role involves reviewing and classifying content, handling sensitive material, and escalating violations as necessary to maintain platform integrity.

Responsibilities

• Review user-generated content to ensure compliance with community guidelines.
• Assess and classify graphic images, videos, and written content.
• Identify and escalate policy violations for further review.
• Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on policy changes.
• Ensure content moderation meets performance and accuracy standards.
• Investigate and resolve content-related concerns within established guidelines.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure secure handling of sensitive information.
• Analyze trends and provide insights for process improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of six months of customer service experience preferred.
• Strong emotional resilience and ability to handle sensitive content.
• Experience navigating internet platforms, including social media.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing business needs, including flexible work schedules.
• Proficiency in Windows operating systems and ability to multitask using multiple programs.
• Typing speed of at least 25 words per minute.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
