Job Summary:
Founded in 1985, ATS specializes in industrial maintenance, optimizing factory operations.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluates non-emergency work requests, develops scope of work, and inspects job location to determine job requirements.
- Estimates labor hours, skillsets, parts, materials, equipment, and special tools required for safe and efficient job completion.
- Gathers technical documentation, including drawings, schematics, specifications, and spare parts lists, ensuring parts availability before scheduling.
- Maintains an organized work order backlog to prioritize upcoming jobs and keeps the Ready Backlog at or above 80%.
- Employs continuous improvement processes to update job plans for accuracy and effectiveness.
- Conducts weekly planning and scheduling meetings with production teams to determine priorities, communicate status, and adjust maintenance activities as needed.
- Creates a weekly technician schedule incorporating priority planned jobs and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Improves work order planning and scheduling effectiveness through review processes and maintenance metrics.
- Maintains essential records and files for meaningful analysis and reporting.
- Trains site employees on CMMS usage and ensures system integrity.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Associate degree in a technical field with 1-3 years of maintenance scheduling/planning experience or 5-10 years as a machine repair technician, or an equivalent combination.
- Familiarity with an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude.
- Proficiency with computers, maintenance systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent verbal communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain positive, professional relationships.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Desire to develop leadership skills.
- Experience in job plan development, scheduling, and work execution.
- Project management and capital project experience.
- CMRP certification.
- Green Belt certification.
- STS certification.
