Welder

Job Summary:

This role will be responsible for used in manufacturing equipment. This role involves setting up fixtures, performing mechanical assembly, and operating equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience have completed formal training. This role requires the ability to lift heavy items, work with hand tools, and ensure high-quality standards in weldments.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and other documents.

• Set up fixtures and mount parts for welding, using hand and air tools.
• Lift and position large components using a hoist and other lifting equipment.
• Operate MIG welding equipment to weld machine components.
• Inspect weldments for quality and correct errors or deficiencies.
• Use a computer to track part locations, inventory, and record inventory transactions.

Qualifications and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Experience with MIG welding or completion of a formal welding training program.
• Ability to pass a required entry-level plate test for production welding.
• Experience using hand and air-powered tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, hammers, etc.
• Basic reading, clerical, and math skills.

Salary:

Day Shift: $19.38/hr.-$20.45/hr., based on experience

Night Shift: $21.38/hr.-$22.45/hr., based on experience
