Technical Business Analyst

Job Summary:

This role involves working closely with investment operations teams to understand business requirements, improve processes, and design scalable solutions. The ideal candidate will play a key role in product development and support the firm's global growth.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Portfolio Management teams, including Portfolio Accounting, Portfolio Analytics, Security Operations, and Trading Operations, to ensure system performance.
• Monitor production platforms for system health and operational readiness.
• Facilitate communication between internal business customers, technology teams, and application vendors.
• Provide operational and incident support for assigned applications.
• Perform root cause analysis on production incidents and propose solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Define user stories and acceptance criteria based on business requirements.
• Document business, functional, and technical system requirements with solution details and diagrams.
• Participate in the software development lifecycle.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
• Provide data-driven business recommendations.
• Manage multiple requests with accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience:

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Manager supporting investment management technology.
• Hands-on experience with portfolio management platforms, including portfolio accounting, order generation, and performance reporting.
• Working knowledge of portfolio management concepts such as positions, trades, and securities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive ownership mindset.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
