Facilities Maintenance Electrician

Job Summary:

Founded in 1985, ATS specializes in industrial maintenance, focusing on optimizing factory operations.

Responsibilities:

• Perform expert-level break-fix and preventative maintenance, including troubleshooting, dismantling, repairing, and testing mechanical and electrical systems.
• Identify and source necessary parts, supplies, and repair items while evaluating cost and reliability improvements.
• Independently conduct maintenance following industry standards.
• Collaborate with the Planner Scheduler to enhance preventative maintenance procedures.
• Operate various machining tools, including lathe, drill press, and grinder, to manufacture and repair parts. May also perform welding tasks.
• Maintain compliance with 5S and housekeeping standards.
• Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives, applying relevant methodologies to enhance processes and reduce costs.
• Provide guidance to junior technicians and contribute to project teams through expert knowledge.
• Troubleshoot and analyze complex control systems, resolving software and hardware issues.
• Utilize predictive maintenance technologies to collect and analyze equipment performance data.
• Update maintenance records and analyze historical data using CMMS.
• Engage in on-the-job training and self-study programs for ongoing professional development.
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and technical guidelines while promoting situational awareness.

Qualifications and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Associate's degree in a technical field with five years of relevant industry experience, or seven years of industry experience.
• Proficiency in predictive technologies, precision alignments, and general maintenance of process equipment.
• Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power, and control systems, with the ability to analyze problems and perform repairs.
• Experience using basic hand tools and specialized tools.
• Background in vibration analysis, laser interferometer operations, and precision alignments.
• Ability to travel if required.
