Field Service Engineer

Job Summary

You will troubleshoot hardware, solve complex problems, and ensure equipment operates efficiently. You will work both in a state-of-the-art facility and at customer sites globally, representing the company and contributing to a dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and upgrade advanced customer equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues following established procedures.
• Document job activities, safety procedures, and part processing.
• Provide training and guidance to junior engineers.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational guidelines.

Qualifications and Experience

• Associate degree, military technical training, or equivalent technical certification.
• 4–7 years of experience in the semiconductor or equipment support industry.
• Proficiency in reading electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Advanced knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, and thermodynamics.
• Ability to use hand tools and a digital multimeter.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a passport.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Travel for training and customer site visits, including international travel.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, and lift up to 35 lbs.
• Work in a clean room environment with required protective equipment.

Salary

Salary Range: $37.00 - $51.15 per hour. Compensation is based on experience, skills, and internal equity.
